Matthew Knott is a web designer, software developer, and front-end standards expert. Matt has eight years professional experience.

Work Life

Matt spent a number of years developing web-based enterprise solutions for IBM UK, using his web 2.0 experience to drive revolutionary improvements in software efficiency and effectiveness.

He has recently left IBM to move onto more fulfilling work, developing solutions for Secondary Schools with the City and County of Swansea.

Outside of regular work, Matt is working with friends on an after-work business Digita Solutions, developing service-orientated solutions for businesses small and large. One of the driving principals behind these projects is to allow small businesses to expensive enterprise-scale solutions at a thousandth of the cost.

Personal Life

Matt lives with his wife, Lisa, and new baby Michael, in South Wales. He's probably the happiest he's ever been right now.

His interests include reading, writing and learning, always eager to expand his horizons. In addition to development, Matt has also been a keen amature 3D artist, contributing to a number of 3D Websites, including the now dead SWMA.net
