What's going on?

After a couple of months now of on / off coughs, colds and bad backs, a new set of weird things are happening and I have to ask myself, what's going on?

The latest ailment is a night of really itchy legs. I've never had itchy anything for more than an hour before so this is really strange. I'm not sure if it's related to blood pressure or something but anyway life goes on.

Day of days

Not really comparable with D-Day but I had a phone call yesterday to say one of the taps had blown clean off the pipe and the house was flooding, great.

I managed to talk Lisa through turning off the water and then went home to fix it, which was quite easy, amen for push-fit plumbing is all I say.

Too much learning

Getting a bit worried now, I'm going to swindon in a couple of weeks for a C# developer course but I don't think I can take any of it in, I had to remember  a phone number this week and that's going to take a while to recover from. Does anyone else feel like they've reached a limit with their memory, more goes in but things get harder to remember, maybe that's age?

iPhone development is getting exciting, it's great being able to build useful programs for yourself, but jesus, it's a difficult language to learn.

It's sort of the reason I'm going on this C# course, I do a lot of C# programming in work, and it works, but I don't know why? I know I need to put x, y, z into the code but I don't understand why they have certain options or how I can change them, so hopefully I'll be less confused afterwards!

This just in, the second iPhone development book I was after cannot be obtained by Amazon, ah well.

I'm sorry these updates aren't exciting or entertaining anymore, lack of sleep is wearing me down. Does talking about a lack of something that everyone knows exists worsen the problem? I think so, this global financial crisis would be nothing if people stopped talking about it. The reason consumers have no confidence is because the media keeps reporting that consumers have no confidence. We need a North Korea style TV network, 4 hours of worshipping the Queen as a god, and then off to toil 12 hours for her, I bet you they aren't talking about credit crunches over there, just having a good time talking about the deity amongst men that is Kim Jong Il, good times, good times.

For next weeks happy post, find out how sexual abuse at an early age has put a positive spin on my life.
