Bye April
Well, May is here, April is gone, and good riddance.
I'd run out of database space if I listed all the bad things that have happened this month, so what's to look forward to for the rest of the year.
I'm really upset to hear my friend Mat has come off his bike and messed up his leg, poor guy. Can't wait to see him and hear how he's getting on, poor guy. I've only had a mild bike accident so know he must be in a world of hurt.
Well the main thing is going away to Cornwall on the 18th, that'll be great. Time off with the whole family, just a shame we don't have more money to spend but such is life.
I've bought two books, JRR Tolkein's The Hobbit, and Brian Herbert & Kevin J Anderson Butlerian Jihad. I don't know which one to read first, they're both fantastic books, I think I'll go with the Dune novel first. This might sound strange but it's been so long since I read a novel that I really feel a sense of foreboding. I can't explain why, it doesn't make sense, it's just reading after all. I attribute so much of what I see as the positive side of me to reading.
I really want Michael to enjoy reading as well, but he grows in to, I'm not sure I can influence, although they do say that your children will follow your example, so more reading and less gaming.
Work is going well, I tried to right a SharePoint forum system in a day today, and nearly did it as well mind, but had to get some Tile Adhesive so left early. I'll finish it tuesday though, and will spend some time on the weekend coming up with the icons and button graphics.
There still doesn't seem to be the time to enjoy life that I'd like there to be, but things are definitely improving. Last month was the first time I'd had a chance to take Michael out in the car, we went for a spin to Llansamlet and walked around the lake, it was fantastic.
I don't know what to do for a project as well, I'm really enjoying work so I don't really have many creative juices to spend when I get home. I want to finish my Rugby site, although finding time again is becoming a problem.
No matter how bad things in life get, as long as you can find positives there's something to get you through the hard times.
