Holiday Time

Posted on Monday, 18 May 2009 00:06

I'm going to Cornwall for the week tomorrow, and can't wait. Okay, the weather doesn't look to clever, but I'll be away with the family and having a good time.

Lisa had a new car Friday so this'll be the first spin out for a long time. I have absolutely no plans for my time away, which is probably a good thing because these things never go to plan and you end up disappointed. Weathers not looking to great so probably another good reason for going away.

I am making plans for when I come back however, in the form of several site updates.

Facebook

Now that the Facebook API supports status updates without a session, I'll be writing something to post my blog updates to Facebook as well. My plan is to move all status updates to Twitter to instead of double posting. I'm not sure whether or not to write a bridging application that posts to both and also synchronizes / pushes twitter posts to Facebook.

Code Blocks

Want to finally get some resiliant code block code that works with TinyMCE, it's a huge hole in my management system at the minute.

Twitter

Finally, a simply update to hash tag my tweets from the blog with the articles tags.
