Radical SharePoint Design
Posted on Thursday, 29 October 2009 19:04Today I was asked to create a design for the homepage of out authority wide SharePoint site that was radically different to what we have there at the minute.
The design was rejected so I'm posting it here incase it inspires anyone else.
So, we're currently looking at redesigning the homepage of our LEA SharePoint portal. We had a loose brief (not as loose as when we created the one that's there now!).
I don't want to go into the soul destruction I've experienced over this in the last few days, but this morning I was asked to come up with a more radical design. No surprises that it was rejected but here it is for anyone interested, may inspire you, make you cringe, or possibly just laugh and point, either way, here it is:
