Today, I said goodbye to my good friend Juliana.

The service was beautiful, so many friends and family came to say a final fairwell to you. It's funny in a way how everyones memories of you are so similar. We all remembered your kindness, your wit and how gentle a being you were.

The pastor said what a good role model you were, and how you inspired such devotion in people. He's right, whenever I think about you, I think of the qualities you had that were so admirable, you were never anyone but yourself, your dignity, the inner peace you seemed to always have.

You were a great friend, and you've made me realise that life doesn't wait around for good intentions. I'm going to try to be a better person because you've shown me that I shouldn't have to pretend to be someone I'm not, and instead of always meaning to go see people or to call, I need to do it, because they might not always be here.

It was good to talk to Gareth and your parents today, they are all blessed with the same dignity you've always shown, and we all had a cwtch. It was hard looking in your mothers eyes because it was like looking at you. Gareth and the kids will have so much love around them they'll be fine, I hope in some way my words have helped them.

Good night sweet angel I'll always miss you.
