SharePoint Recurring Events, Calculating The Next Occurance

I’ve spent a few days doing the full calculations for getting the next instance of a recurring SharePoint event.

I’ll put a post up soon with the proof of concept console application I’ve written (1400 + lines of code) which I couldn’t find any examples of online.

There’s plenty of room for optimisation and efficiency gains but it’s a good starting place.

I’m getting the ball rolling in work for our URL shortener. Schools will get neat short url’s and shared links get dynamic codes. All good fun. We’ll also be pushing the moodle to sims link live for all secondaries (duck and cover).

Website Progress #2

Another day and the site is looking better and better. Added a finished texture for misc posts and also life posts. Started sorting the header out too.

Website Progress #1

Well, I’ve started to style the site going for a technical paper background for dev posts, and index card background for short tumblr posts such as this. The next step fir notes is to implement a handwriting font. Tired now. G’night.
